History of The Black Women's Task Force

The Black Women's Task Force of Tucson is a non-profit organization which focuses on providing you with timely information on health, business, cultural, events, space to share stories and otherwise interact with the organization and other users. We also provide a calendar for women’s events. This website will be a work in progress with almost limitless possibilities.

The Beginning:

 The Black Women's Task Force began through the Women's Commission in 1975.  

 Mission Statement:

"Educate and empower women through support and networking
for equality and success in the Tucson Community.

Conferences: Our conferences are the hallmark of The Black Women’s Task Force.  Over the years we have hosted top speakers and covered a range of topics that affect women and the quality of their lives.
